Classic Agent 47 in the game series Hitman is a real long-distance runner. The latest submission is released in episode format, where the first scene was launched on March 11 in the form of a fashion show in Paris.
The new Hitman is also one of the first titles to support DirectX 12 straight out of the box, something SweClockers put to the test in the test lab. The result, however, was lame to say the least, where the hope was set for future updates for a more polished experience.
Now, however, it seems that the recently launched episode two, Sapienza, soon adds further worries. Techpowerup and PC Gamer report that the game simply does not start in DirectX 12 mode for everyone. The symptoms are that the software rolls on and is marked as active by, for example, Steam, while nothing is visible on the screen. With older DirectX 11 as the interface, the problem disappears.
Hitman: Episode 2 – Sapienza was released for PC / Windows, Playstation 4 and Xbox One on April 26th. SweClocker’s gaming colleagues at FZ have reviewed the title.
