Deepcool saves graphics card holder with RGB

Over the years, graphics cards have grown in size and become heavier, something that comes as a result of them being equipped with increasingly potent cooling solutions. This has given rise to a rare problem, where circuit boards bend over time when the graphics card is mounted in a computer or a PCI Express slot may fall off when moving the entire system.

Deepcool wants to remedy this with GH-01, a height-adjustable holder that is mounted in the computer to hold the graphics card firmly in place, to minimize the risk of accidents. The support circumference is 47.2–154 millimeters and the underside of the holder is provided with tape, to ensure that it is fixed in the computer.

In addition, the holder itself measures 52.6 × 60.6 × 163.73 millimeters and must stand on a stool to carry up to 5 kilograms. The stand should also make it easier to get a nice wiring, as there is room to pull two 8-pin PCI Express connectors on the back.

On the front, a flat surface with perforated holes for RGB lighting is noticeable. A slightly more expensive variant called GH-01 LED has nine addressable RGB diodes which are compatible with standards such as Asus Aura and MSI Mystic, while cheaper GH-01 RGB is a simpler solution that is connected via a 12 V 4-pin connector. There is also a variant called GH-01 which is completely without lighting.

Deepcool GH-01 is already available at Swedish retailers and costs from SEK 149 to 199 depending on the variant.
