The eToro cryptocurrency wallet will add support for 120 ERC-20 tokens. Already, you can store and exchange MKR, BAT and OMG in it, and the support of other tokens will appear in the near future.
Note that the eToro cryptocurrency wallet is managed by a subsidiary of the platform, the eToroX regulated exchange, which was launched in April of this year. EToroX Managing Director Doron Rosenblum said:
“The addition of 120 ERC-20 tokens is another proof of our confidence that once all of the invested assets will be tokenized. One of the main obstacles to the universal adoption of cryptoactive assets is the difficulty of accessing them. We add these assets to our safe and regulated wallet so more people can store and exchange them. ”
The CEO and co-founder of eToro, Yoni Assia, emphasized:
“Just as we open traditional markets to investors, we want to do this for the world of tokenized assets. The blockchain will sometime “absorb” traditional financial services, translate everything into tokenized form ”.
