The graphics card manufacturer EVGA made a new entry into the Swedish market in connection with the launch of the first graphics cards in the Geforce 600 series. However, not everything goes exactly as planned.
We have isolated this problem to an early batch of GTX 670 Superclock cards that were not properly screened during QA/QC procedure. We have already been working with our partners to retest this particular batch. In the meantime, our R&D has also done numerous tests, burn in and component quality verification to confirm that the EVGA GTX 670 Superclock is a well designed product.
A batch of the Geforce GTX 670 Superclock model is now being withdrawn from the sales channel as the graphics cards have not undergone the necessary quality testing. EVGA tells SweClockers that this does not mean that the graphics cards are incorrect and that the recall does not affect the end customers either.
As usual, all guarantees apply. Anyone who encounters problems can contact the company’s support for extra fast processing of the case.
