WASHINGTON, Sep 22 – PRIME Gasoline prices in the US continued to rise for the second day in a row after a long decline that lasted 99 days in a row, according to statistics released on Thursday by the American Automobile Association (AAA).
According to the association, the average price of fuel at gas stations in the country rose to $3.684 per gallon compared to Wednesday’s level of $3.681 per gallon.
Prior to this, prices at American gas stations have been continuously declining. The all-time high of $5,016 was reached on June 14th.
On Tuesday, US President Joe Biden announced that gasoline prices in the country have returned to early March levels.
