MOSCOW, 1 Oct — PRIME. Moldova regularly violates the terms of payment for gas supplied from Russia, the position of the republic does not allow resolving the issue of historical debt, which entails the risk of terminating the contract, Gazprom said in its Telegram channel.
Gazprom confirmed the volume of gas supplies to Moldova in October
The company confirmed gas deliveries to Moldova in October and noted that “the Moldovan side regularly violates the provisions of the contract regarding the terms of payment for the delivered gas.”
“At the same time, due to the fault of the Moldovan side, an agreement has not yet been concluded on the settlement of the historical debt for gas supplied in previous years. For this reason, Gazprom has the right to terminate the current contract at any time,” the statement said.
