According to the foreign portal 9to5Google, a large-scale update of Google Chrome should take place this year. The planned innovations will be available on all major platforms Windows, Linux, macOS and Chrome OS. Some of the innovations have already been added to test builds of the browser.
It is known that the developers implement the function of creating screenshots in the same way as in Microsoft Edge. Users will be able to take screenshots of the entire screen or a selected area. It is possible that programmers will add the ability to scroll the page to create tape screenshots.
At the same time, the created pictures are automatically saved in the clipboard, where they can be edited, re-saved, and then sent by mail or via messenger. Using the cloud clipboard in Windows 10 will also allow you to sync images between devices.
In terms of support for the Google Lens smart camera, which has become popular among mobile users, it should replace the outdated Google Search for This Image feature currently available in the desktop version of Google Chrome. It is supposed to be available right in the contest menu. Recall that the “smart” camera allows you to recognize text and objects in images, as well as find them on the network.
Today Google Chrome is the most popular web browser and thanks to new features it has every chance to maintain its leadership in the global browser market.
