Honor announces the debut in the Italian market of MagicBook 14, its own clamshell notebook based on the AMD Ryzen 5 3500U processor and intended for a young audience of users looking for a high productivity solution at a low cost.
MagicBook 14 is based on one aluminum chassis, weighing 1.38Kg and 15.9mm thick. The 14-inch non-touch screen has an anti-glare finish and a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. Under the body there is a quantity of 8GB system memory and a 256GB SSD of capacity, combined with the processor AMD Ryzen 5 3500U which integrates 4 CPU cores and the Vega 8 GPU.
There 56Wh battery of capacity ensures, according to the data provided by the company, operation away from the power outlet up to 10 consecutive hours. The power supply is ensured by an external fast-charging charger, connected to the notebook via USB Type-C port and which therefore can also be used to recharge smartphones equipped with this interface.
The experienced user will notice immediate analogies with Huawei's MateBook range, in particular with the MateBook D 14. The basis of these two products is in fact the same, with Honor, moreover, belonging to the Huawei group. A peculiarity of the MagicBook range is an aluminum frame finish with a bevel that reveals the iconic blue finish typical of Honor products.
MagicBook 14 can be purchased in the two colors Space Gray and Mystic Silver on the official HiHonor page, at one Official list of € 599.90 VAT included, starting May 26.
