HTC Unveils 5G Router That Can Host Full Bitcoin Node

Taiwanese manufacturer Htc has just announced the upcoming arrival ofExodus 5G Hub, a 5G router ultra secure which allows in particular to execute a Bitcoin node full.

Press release says future router Exodus 5G Hub will provide a 5G connectivity secure for all Internet-enabled devices thanks to confidentiality "Unmatched".

The router Exodus 5G Hub also offers the possibility of owning own keys via the system Zion Vault the company. HTC says it's the "ultimate protection" against data collection by big tech companies using devices like Amazon's Alexa.

Exodus has always been more than smartphones: Exodus is about ownership. Own your keys, data and protect your privacy. Using theExodus 5G Hub, you have more control and ownership over your data than ever before, ”said Phil Chen, blockchain director at HTC.

Like its previous smartphones Exodus 1 and Exodus 1s, the router therefore benefits from the support of Zion Vault which offers several features such as running a full Bitcoin node, recovery of social keys in the event of loss of the device as well as an application allowing to consult its balances in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Binance Coin or even Stellar.

Note that the execution of a full knot not only helps develop the network Bitcoin, but also helps to secure it.

In addition, Htc reported that popular privacy-focused apps like the Brave browser, Messaging ProtonMail and the VPN Incognito are coming soon to all Exodus devices.

TheExodus 5G Hub, the price of which has not yet been communicated, should be available from the 2nd quarter of this year.

At the end of 2019, the Taiwanese manufacturer announced that it would focus more on innovative technologies such as the blockchain and the VR.
