We have to wait a few more days for the official premiere of the Mate 20 series smartphones. However, we can already see the performance of one of them.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro has just been tested in the Geekbench benchmark. It achieved 3,390 points for a single core and 10,318 points for multiple cores. This means that the processor used, the Kirin 980, is much faster than that present in the P20 Pro. Then the results were 1900/6700 points. It is also more efficient than OnePlus, whose results are 2370/8720 points. It is possible that since the premiere of the latest 800 series processors by Qualcomm, it will be the most efficient design on Android. And how does it compare to Apple smartphones with the A12 processor? The iPhone Xs gets 4795/11172 points consecutively, so more than the Kirin 980.
Huawei’s announcements about having the most efficient smartphone on the market may turn out to be untrue. Of course, we have to wait until the premiere to confirm the performance, but it is doubtful that the results obtained will increase significantly.
