IBM tech giant, Citi banking group and Ubisoft, a French video game company, have joined Tribe, a Singapore-based blockchain startup accelerator.
According to a press release, companies will help participating startups promote their products and expand their business outside of Singapore. Now the accelerator is preparing for the second release of its four-month program for companies from various industries.
The accelerator program involves Torus, supported by the largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance, and startup AID: Tech. Last month, Tribe also began working with ConsenSys startup to develop the blockchain ecosystem in Singapore.
Government agency Enterprise Singapore, created to foster the development of blockchain startups, has supported the new program. Corporate partners such as BMW Group Asia, Intel and Nielsen took part in the first issue of the program.
