India admits: the “missile attack” on Pakistan was an accident. We know the answer of the other side

“Is it your missile that fell on the territory of our country? So for the future, be more careful about such omissions. ” This is a short description of the recent dialogue between Pakistan and India, which fortunately ended amicably, because in fact the missile attack on Pakistan was supposed to be just a coincidence.

With the whole world watching the situation in Ukraine and the actions of Russia and NATO with fear in their eyes, such incidents should never happen. The USA knows this very well, which has suspended the Minuteman III tests precisely because of the ongoing war in Ukraine.

Fortunately, the Indian random missile attack on Pakistan ended quickly and without major consequences

Launching a missile into another country “by accident” is definitely more than just “bad luck”. India revealed on Friday that it had accidentally fired a missile at Pakistan during the week due to a “technical glitch” during routine maintenance after a firm response from the “attacked” state. Not without reason, because the tension between Pakistan and India has never really disappeared, as both countries have fought three wars in the past. Fears are fueled by the fact that both countries have access to nuclear weapons.

The pictures show the alleged type of projectile. This is the Russo-Indian BrahMos

According to India’s announcement, “On March 9, 2022, during routine maintenance, a technical failure led to an accidental launch of a missile. The state learned that “the missile landed in Pakistan” and that the accident “had no fatalities”. The response from the aggrieved state was more of a warning “that India should be mindful of the unpleasant consequences of such negligence and take effective measures to avoid repetition of such violations in the future.”

Admitting it was a missile was very nonchalant. What does this say about their security mechanisms and technical skills for highly dangerous weapons? The international community must look at this very carefully

The Pakistan national security official said.

The missile itself was most likely an example of a BrahMos missile, and fortunately unarmed, it landed near the eastern city of Mian Channu, which is about 500 km from the country’s capital.
