Inno3D takes the opportunity to showcase its new cooling solutions for GTX 1080 and 1070 and continues on the Ichill series for another generation. Returning, it is a massive cooler with a name of similar size.
The larger models go by the name Ichill Geforce GTX 1080 Air-boss Herculez X4 and Ichill Geforce GTX 1080 Air-boss Heculez X3 and are primarily about a cooling device with three 92 millimeter fans, while the former is equipped with another fan of 50 millimeters to pass air through the card and cool VRM components.
Common to both is a separate circuit board with 8 + 6-pin connectors for the power supply and an unknown number of current phases. Like many other manufacturers, the frequencies are not completely nailed, but there will probably be a few snaps over the reference model.
At the same time, the company is taking the opportunity to launch the Geforce GTX 1070 Gaming OC, which as the name reveals includes their own bottling of Nvidia’s latest graphics card. This is about a PCB reference design and a cooler with dual 100mm fans.
The editorial staff has not been allowed to take part in any price information or availability for the Nordic market, but the models are expected to appear shortly.
