Intel Iris Xe discrete graphics are only compatible with select CPUs and boards – AMD not listed

A few hours ago, Intel unveiled its first Iris Xe discrete graphics adapter with the energy-efficient Xe-LP architecture for office and home personal computers and is officially available only in turnkey systems. Naturally, a number of enthusiasts would not mind testing new items, but not all processors and motherboards will be compatible with the Iris Xe graphics adapter, the resource reports.
