On May 27, we held the first edition of SweClockers Live! 2021. There were activities, panel talk, competitions and not least interviews with the three big giants among enthusiasts – Intel, Nvidia and AMD. In order to have time to include the Holy Trinity in our packed schedule of just over three hours, the interviews had to be cut down.
For those of you who either missed SweClockers Live! 2021 or want to see the full interviews, we publish all three uncut. First out is the interview with AMD’s product manager Nish Neelalojanan, who answered questions about the latest graphics technologies. What are Mesh Shaders, Variable Rate Shading and Directstorage, how does AMD view AI upscaling and raytracing, and what distinguishes Smart Access Memory from Resizeable Bar?
Of course, there were also some product issues around the Radeon RX 6000 series. What really happened to the imaginary flagship RX 6900 XTX which was instead sneaked out to partner manufacturers and what does AMD have to say about the current situation regarding prices and availability? Nish Neelalojanan also shares which future game technique he is most looking forward to.
