When Firaxis announced back in 2016 that the nations in Civilization VI would have leaders with additional unique abilities, it immediately gave rise to the hope in the heads of the franchise fans that in the sixth part of the series, the developers would add several leaders of the same state at once, which allowed to diversify the gameplay for them. Unfortunately, only a few out of dozens of nations in Civilization VI were honored to have the opportunity to choose leaders, but in a couple of days there will be more of two such nations at once.
The developers brought to the attention of the players Kublai – an alternative leader for Mongolia or China at the player’s choice. Kublai will appear in the game as part of the January 28 update from the New Frontier Pass.
Kublai’s leadership ability is called “Gerege” and grants any government an additional cell of the economic course, which is absolutely always useful: in any era and in any situation. As if this monstrously powerful bonus alone wasn’t enough, Gerege also grants China or Mongolia under Kublai’s leadership the random effects of inspiration or inspiration when creating the first trading post in a foreign city.
Considering that Khubilai’s leadership ability is somehow combined with Mongolian and Chinese civilization bonuses, everything looks very strong. Recall that in the January 28 update, Vietnam and a special mode with monopolies and corporations will also appear in Civilization VI.
