Mikri Zhang plans to return to Bitmain through court

Micree Zhan, who was recently removed from his position as CEO of Bitmain, does not agree with this situation and plans to sue to return to the company.

Zhang published a statement on the WeChat messenger, in which he called his dismissal from office a “coup” and emphasized that he had not been notified of his dismissal in advance. He intends to appeal to the court with a request to investigate the illegal dismissal and reinstate him.

“I never thought that I, as a person involved in technology and product development, would have to turn to lawyers. I was confused by the fact that the co-founder, largest shareholder and legal representative of Bitmain was dismissed without even warning when I was on a business trip. This is a coup. I never thought that these scenes from television series, when partners and “brothers” betray you and stick a knife in your back, can happen in life, ”he wrote.

Zhang emphasized that he will fight for the company to the end. He also noted that the Chinese mining giant should occupy 90% of the global cryptocurrency mining equipment market.

Recall that the removal of Zhang from the post of CEO became known in late October. Jihan Wu sent an e-mail to all employees of the company, in which he said that he was relieving Zhang of all duties and “from now on, no one should follow his instructions.”
