The Nasdaq stock exchange operator has also added a cryptocurrency-related index, this time for the decentralized finance (DeFi) industry.
The exchange operator concluded
a partnership agreement with EXANTE, a London-based brokerage company, to offer the DeFiX index, which includes real-time information on several cryptocurrency projects, including Augur, Gnosis, 0x and MakerDAO.
“DeFiX is the first altcoin index that reflects the dynamics of the most promising blockchain projects working in the field of decentralized financing: Augur, Gnosis, Amoveo, Numerai, Maker, 0x,” said
Nasdaq.
The new index is available in the Nasdaq Global Index Data ServiceSM (GIDS), a federated data stream, and is updated every 60 seconds. In addition to Nasdaq, users will be able to track the DeFix index on Tradingview and Google, and in the future on Yahoo Finance.
