MOSCOW, 21 Sep — PRIME. The volume of production of liquid hydrocarbons in Norway in August, according to preliminary data, increased compared to the final data for July by 127,000 barrels per day, or by 6.8%, amounting to 1.998 million barrels per day, according to a report by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (Norwegian Petroleum Directorate, NPD).
According to the final data for July, the volume of production of liquid hydrocarbons in the country averaged 1.871 million barrels per day.
At the same time, NPD notes that the figure for August turned out to be 3.7% less than the organization’s forecast.
Including the volume of oil production in August amounted to 1.774 million barrels per day, which is 3.1% lower than the NPD forecast and 8.1% more than in July. The volume of production of a wide fraction of light hydrocarbons (NGL) in August amounted to 205,000 barrels per day, and condensate – 19,000.
Also, according to the data provided in the message, the volume of gas produced in Norway amounted to 347.7 million cubic meters per day, which is 4.5% higher than the NPD forecast.
