A while ago, AMD’s graphics division turned 30, which was celebrated with the live talk show # AMD30Live. The competitor Nvidia does not want to be worse and is now inviting to its own event on the theme of PC games, but that is just a pretext. Behind the scenes, the Geforce partner is brooding on new graphics cards.
On September 18th at 6 pm PDT, NVIDIA and the PC Gaming industry are kicking off an unprecedented 24-hour event. The goal of this event is simple – to celebrate this thing we all love called PC gaming. It will be packed with exclusive content, developer interviews, game reveals, give-aways, and more.
On Friday 19 September at 03:00 Swedish time, Nvidia will launch Game24 with events in Stockholm *, Los Angeles, Shanghai and London. During the entire 24 hours, interviews, game revelations and competitions will be offered in a worldwide event that is also broadcast live online.
The choice of date is not a coincidence, however, but probably coincides with the launch of the Geforce GTX 970 and 980. On the same day, the first performance-oriented graphics cards from the new generation Maxwell are said to find their way to store shelves.
* In Stockholm, the event takes place in Webhallen’s store on Sveavägen. The doors open on Friday 19 September at 21:00. More information about the Swedish part of the event can be found on Nvidia’s website.
