Powercolor unveils the Radeon RX Vega 56 Red Dragon

In August 2017, AMD launched its Vega graphics architecture, with the two new models Radeon RX Vega 56 and RX Vega 64. These were for a long time only available in reference versions, but as models from Sapphire, Gigabyte and Powercolor, among others, began to appear .

Now Powercolor unveils a new variant of the Radeon RX Vega 56 called Red Dragon. This differs somewhat from the company’s Red Devil model, with, among other things, shorter circuit boards and a lower price tag. The card is equipped with three fans and according to Powercolor itself should be the quietest Radeon RX Vega 56 on the market.

In terms of specifications, a turbo frequency of up to 1,478 MHz is stated and the model comes equipped with 8 GB video memory of the type HBM2. An 8-pin and a 6-pin PCI Express are used for power supply and there are two HDMI and two Display ports in the connection path.

The Powercolor Radeon RX Vega 56 Red Dragon will be launched on March 28 at an as yet unknown recommended price.
