Rumors of new Nvidia desktop GPUs seem to have nearly dried up, but we can see new laptop GPUs from the manufacturer.

A spokesperson for a Gigabyte / Aorus UK Notebook on the OverclockersUK forum confirmed that laptops equipped with Nvidia’s next generation GPUs are slated to launch at the end of the year – and while this rumor requires some extra extrapolation, it can be taken at face value.

This information served as an answer to a question from another forum user who asked about the new variant of the Gigabyte Aero 15 X – so given that Gigabyte only uses discrete Nvidia graphics cards, the next generation graphics could come from the Turing family.

Generally, we do not rely on information from one forum, but it seems more likely when it comes from the publication of a brand spokesperson for a retail site with direct partnerships with Gigabyte and Nvidia. The forum feed has since been closed, but it looks like the Gigabyte / Aorus UK Notebook spokesperson continues to be an active member, so as a forum user at least he remains authentic.
