Not all manufacturers will replenish their stocks of RTX 3060 Ti, Inno3D is out of the game!

Continuing the recent concerns about the shortage of 3060 Ti graphics cards.

It is reported that Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti video cards have been discontinued by the video card manufacturer Inno3D, which casts doubt on the situation with the Ampere generation video cards available in stock.

VideoCardz reports that Dutch retailer Azerty has received a notification that the Inno3D GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Twin X2 models (as well as the RTX 3070 Twin X2 version) have been excluded, and this message has been circulated to customers who have ordered these products.

Please note that this is an unconfirmed claim based on an email disclosed by a user of the Tweakers forum.

Azerty reports: “We have just received a disappointing message from the manufacturer regarding the ordered Inno3D GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Twin X2 graphics cards.

“Unfortunately, Inno3D reported this morning that the Twin X2 series for the 3060 and 3070 has been discontinued, so graphics cards will no longer ship, nor do they expect successors or replacements given that demand for the other 3060s cannot be met at this time. moment”.

These are all rumors, but they sound like something disturbing.

OC or not?

What’s not clear, VideoCardz notes, is whether all Inno3D 3060 Ti models have been canceled, as there are still Twin X2 OC (overclocked) variants that may remain in development. The theory is that the graphics card manufacturer (and possibly other manufacturers) has decided to focus on higher-priced models that are more profitable due to graphics card shortages by ditching the base 3060 Ti model. All this, of course, is guesswork, but it makes sense.

The Twin X2 and Twin X2 OC models for the Inno3D RTX 3060 Ti are still listed on the manufacturer’s website at the time of the news (it should be noted that the unreleased RTX 3060s are also listed there).

Other reports have surfaced on Reddit, such as from a major Western European retailer, pointing to limited availability of the RTX 3060 Ti. According to the retailer, Nvidia GPU shipments will continue to plummet throughout the first quarter of 2021, with RTX 3060 Ti and 3080 GPUs expected to come in small numbers. ”

Situation for the RTX 3070 and 3090 models is slightly better as they will be “shipped in small quantities”, but this still does not sound too optimistic (obviously, the retailer has much fewer backorders for the latest graphics cards).

Since the base version of the RTX 3060 will supposedly go on sale at the end of February – this graphics card has actually already been checked out in some stores – it’s unclear what level of inventory to expect with the new GPUs, but given the big picture, you shouldn’t wait with bated breath.

Choose the best Nvidia graphics cards.
