One of the Galaxy Digital Divisions Received a FINRA License

The US Financial Services Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) has issued a license for the underwriter to the broker-dealer division of the cryptocurrency-merchant bank Galaxy Digital.

In a published press release
it is reported that the license was issued to a broker-dealer division of a company called Galaxy Digital Advisors LLC, thanks to which it will be able to provide guarantor services when conducting registered public offers of equity, debt and other corporate securities in the United States.

Before obtaining a license, Galaxy Digital could head up the private placement of securities, introducing the services of a placement agent, as well as advising its clients.

According to the founder of the company, Mike Novogratz (Michael Novogratz), thanks to the new license, the company will be able to more effectively attract institutional investors to the cryptocurrency market.

The head of the consulting division of Galaxy Digital, Jan Taylor (Ian Taylor) noted that now the company will be able to finance organizations involved in the development of the cryptocurrency ecosystem and the blockchain, from the very beginning of their existence until the public offering of shares, as well as at later stages.
