Oppo A55 4G on leaks. There are renders and specification details

It seems that Oppo is actually working on the 4G version of the Oppo A55. The changes to the smartphone will affect not only the lack of 5G, but also the appearance of the device.

What do we know about Oppo A55 4G?

In January, the A55 5G hit the market and it looks like the smartphone will soon see a version without support for the next-generation network. However, this will not be the only change, because Oppo, as indicated by the renders, will also modify the appearance of the smartphone, although these will not be too revolutionary changes.

It can be seen that the manufacturer has changed the position of the selfie camera. It is located in the upper left corner, while on the 5G model it is located in the center in the “v” shape. On renderings, the camera’s island and everything else looks the same, although it is possible that eventually there will also be other changes.

If we are talking to the cameras, leaks indicate that the 4G version will be equipped with a 50 Mpix main unit. The 5G model offers a 13 Mpix module here. Why so? Well, the A55 5G was supposed to be a cheap device with next-gen networking support, so there were some concessions – a better chipset at the expense of a worse camera.

In the Oppo A55 4G, such concessions do not need to be made, especially since the processor is reported to be cheaper, so it will be possible to invest in other components of the device. We also got to know the battery capacity, which was revealed by a recent certification. It is supposed to be 5000 mAh with 18 W charging support. We also know that in addition to 50 Mpix, the camera configuration is to consist of two 2 Mpix “meshes” for macro and depth measurement.
