Owlet is known for making monitors for kids and smart little socks. However, the new device allows you to monitor the condition of the still unborn baby.
The Owlet Band is a soft device that wraps around the mother’s abdomen and lower back. It has a small sensor on the front and center. It uses passive EKG technology that can read and record the baby’s heart rate, count her kicks, and track the mother’s position while sleeping. The device has been designed to fit pregnant women from 24 weeks. It connects to a smartphone application where you can read all reports about your baby.

The device is expected to be available for sale at the end of 2019. During CES, developers said that its price could be around $ 300, or about PLN 1,122.
