Paramedics with jetpacks. The flying heroes are coming

After testing the Gravity Industries jetpack, the British charity that provides helicopter rescue services, the Great North Air Ambulance Service, has apparently gone this way. We found out that one of its members has just completed jetpack training and that two knees are about to start it. This is how the world’s first paramedics with jetpacks will start operating.

Gravity Industries has repeatedly hit the headlines with its Jet Suit. The associated three thrusters (1 on the back and one on the hands) generate 1,050 horsepower, which translates into 144 kilograms of thrust. It allows you to fly about five kilometers for a maximum of four minutes and reach speeds of over 80 km / h, lifting the user to an altitude of over 3,600 meters.

Thanks to this, instead of relying on helicopters or the tedious journey to the injured in mountainous areas, rescuers, after appropriate training, will be able to respond even faster to a call thanks to jetpacks from Gravity Industries. Instead of several dozen minutes, they will be able to arrive at the site in just a few dozen / several hundred seconds.
