Perlin Network is a distributed computing platform

Binance has announced that the next project launched on the Binance Launchpad will be Perlin and the PERL token. The sale will take place in lottery and airdrop format, with the registration of users’ BNB balances starting with 2019/08/09 00:00 (UTC).

Lottery snapshots will run for 15 days, until August 24th. Lottery winners will be distributed 86,530,500 PERL, worth approximately $ 6.7 million.

In addition, lottery participants who have not been selected will benefit from an airdrop worth 3,884,500 PERL (approximately $ 300,000).

Perlin – a DLT-based supercomputer

Perlin Network is a distributed computing platform built using acyclic graphical technology (DAG). The network transforms the underutilized computing resources into computational power batches that can be used for different tasks, such as big data analysis and machine learning modules.

Perlin will be a platform for dApps that requires a large amount of computing resources and disk space.

By transforming the computing resources into commodities and into a decentralized digital currency, the Perlin project aims to balance the supply and demand of computing resources globally.

The PERL tokens

PERL is Perlin’s native token, facilitating the transfer of value and payments. Accessing the distributed computing capacity of the Perlin network requires PERL. Network clients record computing tasks and offer a fixed amount of PERL tokens that will be offered to miners as a reward for performing tasks.

Tokens are also paid as a reward for transaction validators.

86.530,500 PERL (8.38% of the total) will be offered within the IEO on the Binance Launchpad. The price of a token will be $ 0.07743, each winning ticket worth $ 500 (6,457.45 PERL).

Full details on IEO can be found on the Binance Launchpad website.
