Putin and Saudi prince discussed coordination in the oil market

MOSCOW, 22 Sep — PRIME. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud discussed issues of coordinating the two countries in order to ensure stability in the global oil market, the Kremlin press service reported.

“Issues of Russian-Saudi coordination were considered in order to ensure stability in the global oil market. Both sides highly appreciated the efforts within the framework of OPEC +, and confirmed their intention to continue to adhere to the agreements reached,” the message says.

In addition, Mohammed bin Salman informed that at the upcoming international forum “Russian Energy Week” in Moscow on October 12-14, Saudi Arabia will be represented at a decent level.

The parties also stated the high rates of development of trade and economic ties and the growth of trade, they agreed to continue cooperation, the Kremlin press service reports.
