Reckoon is working on shaping the future of the shopping industry

British company Reckoon is working on shaping the future of the shopping industry with the help of blockchain and AI. The basic concept is that online and physical stores do not need to be in competition, but can support each other. By understanding the intention of the buyers, a best experience can be created for the buyers and a better result for the merchants.

The GloWS system

At the core of the shopping ecosystem Reckoon wants to create is the Global Wishbasket shopping protocol (GloWS). It offers a standardized and universal way to manage your customers’ wish list, transforming them into a shopping cart.

Distributors and brands will be able to integrate the GloWS Protocol with the supply chain through APIs.

Reckoon implements a progressive personalization approach based on artificial intelligence and machine learning. Buyers add products to the whishlist, and networked merchants can send them personalized offers.

Shopping app

Reckoon proposes a mobile application for customers, in which they can introduce different interesting products through images, text and voice. Merchants receive information about the wish list of buyers and can send personalized offers through notifications.

Customers can also earn loyalty points and rewards from used stores.

IEO on two platforms

The Reckoon ecosystem is based on the ROOK token, which will be launched through an IEO between March and April 2020. The company opted to launch on two separate platforms – ProBit and Exmarkets.

In total, in the first phase of the IEO, which will run from March 10-23, 50 million ROOK tokens will be sold. The second phase will take place between March 24 and April 6, when 195 million tokens will be sold. In total, the project will issue 500 million ROOK tokens.

Details about the project and about IEO can be found on the official website.
