Rosseti Group took part in the REW-2022 Youth Day

MOSCOW, 14 Oct — PRIME. Rosseti Group of Companies took part in the Youth Day as part of the Russian Energy Week in Moscow. First Deputy General Director – Chief Engineer Andrey Mayorov, as a member of the jury, evaluated the final qualification works of bachelors and masters of technical universities on energy topics as part of the finals of the All-Russian competition, the purpose of which is to search for talented young professionals and identify innovative solutions that can be implemented in the grid complex.

Acting Deputy General Director for Human Resources Yulia Kuznetsova took part in the round table “Fuel and Energy Complex for Youth”.

The energy giant is working towards vocational guidance for schoolchildren, support and development of students and young professionals. For the next year 2023, the group plans to expand the practice of holding energy circles and energy classes, corporate competitions and scientific competitions, implementing targeted training programs, organizing internships and student teams, and supporting research activities through the Youth Section of CIGRE RNC.

The Ministry of Energy at the end of the event awarded the company for its contribution to the popularization of the fuel and energy complex and engineering education.

“Rosseti” was the organizer of the round table “Youth communities as a catalyst for global processes.” Representatives of the Group also attended the session “Participation of Fuel and Energy Complex Companies in the Championship Movement” Young Professionals “(WorldSkills Russia)” and took part in the meeting of the Youth Council of the Electricity Industry under the Ministry of Energy of Russia.
