Satoshi games creates a multi-player game with rewards in Bitcoin

Bitcoin Lightning Network became the host of the first crypto rewards game. Satoshi games a announced launch of Lightnite, a multiplayer game in which the interactions between players are converted into microtransactions. Players have the opportunity to integrate Bitcoin wallets directly on the platform.

“Lightnite is an online multiplayer battle royale game in which each specific digital interaction between players triggers a monetary reward or penalty. Simplified, players earn bitcoin by shooting other players and lose bitcoin when they are shot, “

explained the Satoshi Games team.

Players will also be able to buy in-game items directly through the wallet or with the rewards earned in the game. The Satoshi Games team recommended Bluewallet as a tool for accessing the Lightning network.

The growing importance of Bitcoin LN has raised speculation that even a major gaming company could use the technology.

“The first major gaming company to add support for the Lightning network will change the gaming industry forever and will likely earn major profits.”

The first game based on Bitcoin

Until now, only Ethereum provided a way to connect games to digital currencies. However, integration is done on the main blockchain, which means slow and costly interactions. Networks such as WAX offer faster transactions, but use an asset with a volatile market price.

Satoshi Games joins the list of companies that use the Lightning network as the main means of interaction for BTC users.

The Lightnite game was launched at a time when new startups use LN directly through compatible wallets. Satoshi Games requires portfolios to be loaded with a predetermined amount of Bitcoin, but there are companies that have already tested fiat-to-Lightning payment options.

The network still has a great potential to carry out transactions, currently having the potential to exceed 800 BTC. The number of payment channels has increased significantly, currently exceeding 35,000.
