Swiss Stock Exchange SIX Listing ETP for Bitcoin and Ether

On the leading Swiss stock exchange SIX, a traded exchange product (ETP) will appear, based on two cryptocurrency assets at once – bitcoin and ether.

The fintech company Amun AG, as well as the cryptocurrency custodian company Bitcoin Suisse AG, worked on the creation of the new tool. Swiss investors will now be able to buy ETP, in the basket of which 90% of bitcoin and 10% of ether. The instrument received the ticker “ABBA”.

“ETP is fully secured. That is, for each unit of cryptocurrency purchased for it, a similar amount of bitcoin and ether will be bought. Cryptocurrency assets will be stored securely in Bitcoin Suisse, ”Amun AG said.

Co-founder and CEO of Amun AG Hany Rashwan noted that the product was created taking into account the needs of the market for cryptocurrency ETP, which can be bought for Swiss francs.

“This is a unique way to add the two largest cryptocurrencies to your investment portfolio at once through a regulated product presented on the leading Swiss exchange and supported by the Swiss custodian of assets,” he said.

Amun AG has already developed 7 cryptocurrency ETPs that are traded on the SIX exchange. In addition to the new product on the Swiss stock exchange, ETP from Amun AG is presented on the basis of bitcoin, lightcoin, bit cache, ether, rip and two composite products.
