The BAT token has become an effective tool of the ecosystem

The Brave browser has become a pioneer of the Web 3.0 phenomenon and is growing in popularity every day. The BAT token has become an effective tool of the ecosystem.

The Brave browser is the first “BAT application” and is the main focus of the BAT (basic attention token) Roadmap 1.0. However, the team plans to expand BAT beyond Brave, such as other web browsers, chat / messaging applications, games and other applications.

The company has launched a developer package (BAT SDK) that will allow developers to integrate BAT functionality. These will allow developers to monetize their applications and reward users.

“I do not want to compete only in the browser market. I think Brave will have a good growth curve and a market share among elite users who are very economically valuable, but BAT is our priority. I want the BAT token to be used extensively, which means we will bring it to other browsers and other applications. Things like podcast players or games that have ads in them are perfect for using BAT. ”

said Brendan Eich.

Major differences from Chrome

Currently, the BAT token is used within the Brave browser, as a reward for viewing ads from partners. Users have the opportunity to directly reward interesting content creators.

Compared to Chrome, which is currently the most widely used browser, Brave offers a number of advantages, such as:

Automatic HTTPS updates
Don’t upload ads and trackers
Provides 60% faster web upload time
It blocks automatic script running
Rewards the user with Crypto for its use

Brave also announced plans for a decentralized VPN, which offers additional security benefits.
