The BOB phone was presented at the IFA 2019 conference in Berlin

PundiX has announced that its new blockchain phone, called “Blok on Blok” or BOB, will be launched in the fourth quarter of this year. The first series of 5,000 phones will be available for pre-order at $ 599 via Kickstarter and through the PundiX wallet.

The BOB phone was presented at the IFA 2019 conference in Berlin. The phone will perform operations on its Blockchain Function X system without centralized service providers storing users’ private information. It will also allow users to switch between PundiX’s blockchain operating system, which powers decentralized services and the Android system.

The phone will have a “MOD assembly kit”, with removable parts that allow buyers to modify the external appearance of the device.

Information in the control of the owner

The BOB phone will allow the use of decentralized applications (dapps) and access to blockchain services, as well as support the Function X network, acting as a node on the blockchain.
