MOSCOW, 30 Aug — PRIME. The justice of the peace of the Tagansky district of Moscow fined the live broadcasting service Twitch 3 million rubles for refusing to remove an interview with Ukrainian politician Alexei Arestovich, a RIA Novosti correspondent reports from the courtroom.
“By the decision of the justice of the peace of the judicial district N422 of the Tagansky district of Moscow, Twitch Interactive, Inc was found guilty of committing an administrative offense under part 2 of article 13.41 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. A punishment was imposed in the form of an administrative fine in the amount of 3 million rubles,” Judge Timur Vakhrameev announced the decision.
The report was drawn up for fakes about a special operation carried out by the Russian army in Ukraine, and it is not the first for the service.
In addition, during the session on Tuesday, the court received another protocol, the third one, drawn up in relation to Twitch. The court has yet to elaborate on the details.
