The first blockchain company entered the listing of the Deutsche Börse managed Xetra exchange

Advanced Blockchain AG was the first blockchain-listed company on the German digital stock exchange Xetra, managed by Deutsche Börse.

According to DGap, the fully electronic trading system Xetra was created in 1997 for use on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, but has since expanded to more than 200 bidders from 16 European countries, as well as from Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates.

According to the latest data, Xetra accounted for $ 149 billion of Deutsche Börse’s total turnover in May 2019, which was $ 165 billion, and Xetra’s average daily trading volume was $ 6.79 billion.

According to the report, the German financial holding company Lang & Schwarz contributed to the launch of Advanced Blockchain as a sponsor and market maker on Xetra. This step follows an earlier listing.

It is also reported that Advanced Blockchain has entered into a letter of intent with a not yet named German telecommunications provider to jointly develop a blockchain-based protocol for billing on the Internet of Things, according to a DGap report.

Deutsche Börse itself has long been interested in the blockchain. Deutsche Borse Group, Swisscom and Sygnum announced this spring that they are developing blockchain-based infrastructure to support the emerging digital asset market.
