For the first time since May 2018, the daily number of transactions on the Ethereum blockchain exceeded 1 million. According to Etherscan data, on June 28, 1,004,170 transactions were completed per day.
According to researchers at the Etherscan portal, the peak of 1,349,890 transactions, which was recorded on January 4 last year, is still far away. In addition, we note that the maximum number of transactions per month was recorded in the Ethereum network in December 2018 and amounted to 115 million.
It was also previously reported that since the beginning of this year, the number of nodes in the Ethereum blockchain has decreased by a third. If in January the Ethernodes portal reported about 10,078 “live” nodes on the network, and Etherscan reported about 7,857, now the services report 8,138 and 5,641 nodes, respectively. Thus, the number of active nodes of Ethereum decreased by about 2,000.
