“Pern has restored the pumping of oil through the damaged pipeline,” the report said.

The company noted that its technical services on Saturday “restored full functionality of the damaged pipeline, which delivers oil to the company’s German customers.” “At present, supplies are carried out using both pipelines of the western section,” the operator added.

Pern also said that an investigation is underway into the reasons that led to the depressurization of the pipeline.

Now at the site of the oil spill, “the activities of the Pern services are aimed at cleaning up the area and restoring it to its original state.”

Earlier, the operator reported the depressurization of one of the two lines of the Druzhba oil pipeline leading to Germany, and that the fault of third parties in the depressurization and oil spill was not found.
