Currently, 3D cinemas have to choose between brightness and resolution and both are lowered by the 3D glasses. The brighter the image, the stronger the depth effect, so the 3D CInema LED was supposed to have the same brightness as its 2D version (48 nits). Also in this solution many factors that can cause dizziness have been eliminated. The left eye only sees the left image and the right eye sees the right image. Only at certain moments do they perceive the images superimposed on each other. The phenomenon of “crosstalk” has also been eliminated.
3D Cinema LED also offers the same viewing angle as the 2D version, which means there is no distortion depending on where the viewer is sitting. The new cinema screens are set to revolutionize the industry and I hope they will succeed.
