This is how vivo X Fold looks like, the first foldable smartphone of the manufacturer

Just yesterday, vivo revealed the release date of its first foldable smartphone, and now we can take a closer look at it. There is a new trailer that reveals the design of this device.

After the first announcement, which actually revealed to us only the release date of vivo X Fold, it’s time for more detailed material

The video gives us the opportunity to look at the circular camera module with four lenses (main photo). Next to it you can see the Zeiss logo, which confirms the cooperation of both companies. We know from leaks that on the back there will be a 50-megapixel main unit, a 48 Mpix ultra wide-angle lens, a 12 Mpix telephoto lens with a 2x optical zoom and an 8 Mpix telephoto lens with a 5x optical zoom. We can’t see much from the front. Yes, we can see the screen unfolded, but the wallpaper and effects make it difficult for us to look at the central bend or the notch on the selfie camera.

Anyway, the device looks really elegant and will certainly stand out from the competition, although (if you believe the leaks) not only visually. vivo X Fold is to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and will offer us a 46,000 mAh battery, which we will charge with 80 W, which makes a really big difference compared to the Galaxy Z Fold3.

The main screen with an AMOLED matrix will have a diagonal of 8 inches and will have a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a QHD + resolution. In the case of an external screen, it is to be a 6.5-inch external OLED panel with FHD + resolution and refresh rate also 120 Hz.

We do not know more details yet, but the closer to the premiere scheduled for April 11, the more information will probably come.
