Tipping on Reddit and Vimeo in BAT introduced by Brave

Brave Browser introduces a new feature that will allow users to reward content authors on Reddit and Vimeo using Basic Attention Token. Currently, features are available on the Brave Developer desktop version. A company representative has announced on Reddit that soon the reddit and Vimeo tipping services will also be available in Brave’s public version.

The company did not launch an official announcement. Several Reddit users noticed adding “type” buttons to Reddit and Vimeo feeds. The thread moderator announced:

Brave representatives have pointed out that users can already start checking their Reddit and Vimeo accounts to use the feature. Those who use the Beta version of the broser can already test the tipping option for content creators.

Earlier in May, Brave began testing for a similar tipping option for Twitter. Those interested can reward interesting tweets with Basic Attention Token. This function is also available in the Brave Nightly test version.
