The Amazon-owned streaming platform Twitch has once again started accepting BTC and BCH for paying for subscriptions.
It is reported that the service still uses BitPay as a payment processor. Payment options in BTC and BCH can be found in the section on less common payment methods on the subscription payment page.
Perhaps this firm’s decision is related to the recent growth in the cryptocurrency market, but the resumption of the use of BTC and BCH was not announced either in the company’s blog or in the press release.
Recall that in March, Twitch removed the option to pay for subscriptions using cryptocurrency. Then the company also did not make official statements about the removal of BTC and BCH from the payment options – this was noticed by one of the users of Reddit.
