Windows 10 May 2020 Update, leaked the release date of the final version

Microsoft released the new one build 19041.208 of Windows 10 on the preview channel, which is a new potential Windows 10 May 2020 RTM Update, or 20H1, or again V2004. The company released the first build 19041 on the Slow Channel in December, and has since released several cumulative updates with the aim of making the new version stable and ready for the public.

Based on several elements, therefore, it seems that the release of the final version is imminent: Microsoft it hasn't added features on the new builds of version 20H1 for some time, and the Patch Tuesday of the month of May – which could be a perfect date for the release of the new update with features – falls next week. However, it appears that the May 2020 Update of Windows 10 is not so close, and to say it is the informed ZDNet.

According to Mary Jo Foley Windows 10 May 2020 Update will arrive on May 28th. Previously, according to Microsoft's plans, the general roll-out of Windows 10 2004 should have started on May 12, after a short period of availability for OEMs and developers only starting from April 28. So it was not because of the discovery of a zero-day exploits that Microsoft wants to fix before the release of the final version of the operating system.

According to the new timing, therefore, the new feature update will be released to OEMs on May 5, while developers will be able to get their hands on the May 2020 Update no earlier than May 12. The mass audience will see Windows 10 May 2020 Update no earlier than 28 May, after a painstaking finishing job that Microsoft has already been doing for weeks. It seems that Microsoft does not want a new misstep like those made with previous versions of the OS.
