ZTE introduces another gaming smartphone to the market

RedMagic 6S Pro, the latest ZTE smartphone aimed at gamers, has just debuted in China. So let’s check what this model offers and how much it differs from the RedMagic 6 Pro.

What does RedMagic 6S Pro offer?

At the outset, it should be noted that there are no huge differences between this latest model and RedMagic 6 Pro. ZTE, however, reached for the latest Qualcomm processor – Snapdragon 888+ supported by a maximum of 18 GB of dual-channel LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 memory. There is also a multidimensional cooling system ICE7.0, which will ensure the low temperature of the device even under heavy load.

The AMOLED display has a diagonal of 6.8 inches, a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 165 Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 720 Hz. XTE reports that the contrast ratio in RedMagic 6S Pro is 1,000,000: 1. It is also worth mentioning that the screen has a low level of smudging and blue light emotions, which is confirmed by the SGS certificate. The fingerprint reader also supports heart rate monitoring.

The cameras in this device are not going crazy, after all, this is not a model dedicated to strictly mobile photography. So we have an 8 Mpix selfie camera, and a triple module consisting of a 64 Mpix wide-angle camera, an 8 Mpix ultra wide angle camera and a 2 Mpix macro camera.

The battery has a capacity of 4500 mAh and supports fast charging of 120 W. On board there are stereo speakers with DTS support: X Ultra, dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GNSS (GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS), USB 3.0 Type-C and 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone works under the control of Android 11.

How much does RedMagic 6S Pro cost?

The smartphone is available in three color options:

  • Shining Black (8 or 12 GB RAM variants)
  • Star White (wariant 12 GB RAM)
  • Transparent Edition (variants 12, 16 or 18 GB RAM)

The Tencent Games Battlefield Camouflage Limited Edition variant was also created, which is available with accessories in the 18 GB + 512 GB variant for $ 1084, i.e. about PLN 4130.

The prices for the other variants are as follows:

    • 12GB + 128GB – 681 $ (approx. 2590 PLN)
    • 12GB + 256GB – $ 743 (approx. PLN 2,830)
  • Transparent Edition
    • 12GB + 128GB – $ 697 (approx. 2650 PLN)
    • 12GB + 256GB – $ 759 (approx. PLN 2,890)
    • 16GB + 256GB – $ 836 (approx. PLN 3180)
    • 18GB + 512GB – $ 991 (approx. PLN 3770)

For now, the smartphone is available in China, but the global premiere should take place soon.
