3DMark receives a fully DirectX-based RayTracing test

UL released 3DMark version 2.15.7078 today, an update that, while correcting some bugs, its main purpose is to bring a new test oriented to Ray Tracing but instead of using a hybrid engine with raster and ray tracing, the complete test will work based on the second technology.

This new test will be available only in the paid versions of 3DMark, so we will find this new test 3DMark Advanced Edition and 3DMark Professional Edition only, while the free version will not enjoy, for now, this new mode.

Hopefully this new test is designed to evaluate RayTracing performance in AMD implementation on their new AMD Radeon RX 6000 Series graphics cards, as well as perhaps even quantifying RayTracing performance on NVIDIA graphics cards using this same system, where while the performance could be lower than using the NVIDIA implementation, it will be relevant for titles that only use DirectX 12 for RayTracing.

Fixed bugs in all versions of 3DMark focus on Night Raid, where we could see a white screen appearing before the loading screen, light fixtures during the test, and two issues that could cause application stability issues.
