AMD today released the latest Radeon Software Adrenalin drivers. Beta 21.2.1 is optimized for “Medium” with a 9% performance increase in 4K as measured with the RX 6800 XT graphics card over the previous release. A number of bugs and issues have also been fixed.
Let’s start with the latency seen on some RX Vega series graphics cards at high refresh rates and screen flickering in MSI Afterburner.
Fixed: Bug resulting in recording and streaming with Radeon software on Radeon HD 7800 series GPUs. rendering error in SketchUp on RDNA GPUs; displaying Samsung CRG9 waking up from the screen to a black screen. Also app crashes with “Metro Exodus” with DXR enabled. Video playback on some of the displays in a multi-display configuration while playing Doom Eternal on one of which experienced delays have also been fixed.
