NVIDIA has unveiled the latest Game Ready GeForce drivers. The latest release adds optimizations for “The Medium”, including RTX and DLSS support. Drivers also provide support for Mobile GeForce RTX 30-Series “Ampere” graphics.
Issues addressed in this release include game crashes and a broken HUD with “X4: Foundations” on Series 30 RTX GPUs; game crashes for games on the RE2 engine in DirectX 11 mode; application crash “Error 707” when using DaVinci Resolve; freeze with MPE GPU acceleration in Adobe Premiere Pro; color distortion issue on Zoom meetings with NVENC enabled; random crashes with “Detroit: Become Human”; and delays / lags when launching a game in Steam VR.
The Wallpaper Engine app may crash on startup or wake up from sleep mode. [3208963]
[Batman Arkham Knight]: The game crashes when turbulent smoke is on. [3202250]
[Игра Steam VR]: Startup lags and delays when any GPU hardware monitoring tool runs in the background. [3152190]
[G-SYNC][GPU NVIDIA Ampere / Turing]: GPU power consumption increases in idle mode on systems using some G-SYNC monitors with higher refresh rates. [200667566]
[YouTube]: Video playback stops when you scroll down the YouTube page. [3129705]
[Notebook]: Some Pascal laptops with high refresh rate displays may accidentally drop to 60Hz while gaming. [3009452]
[G-Sync][Vulkan Apps]: Performance drop occurs when using G-SYNC and switching from full screen to windowed mode using in-game settings. [200681477] To fix this problem, either launch the game directly in windowed mode or disable G-SYNC.
