AMD Ryzen 3000 XT, possible clock frequencies appear

In the past few hours, more and more pressing rumors
have
substantially confirmed the next arrival of
new Ryzen 3000 CPUs.
At first there was talk of called models
Ryzen 7 3750X and 3850X, but only
several hours later different names emerged (Ryzen 9 3900XT, Ryzen 7 3800XT e
Ryzen 5 3600XT
), probably corrected if we think of the nomenclature in force in
AMD house. According to the known information, the new CPUs will not change anything at the core and thread level, which will remain completely similar to the X models already on the market. The same
should apply to the TDP. AMD would however have increased the frequencies of
clock
, and new rumors are circulating about it.

The Ryzen 5 3600XT model is expected to gain 200 MHz on the
base clock and 300 MHz boost compared to 3600
, thus rising from 3.8 / 4.4 GHz to
4 / 4.7 GHz. The Ryzen 7 3800XT should rise instead of 300 MHz for
regarding the
base frequency and 200 MHz for boost clock, thus passing by
3.9 / 4.5 GHz to 4.2 / 4.7 GHz.

Finally, the Ryzen 9 3900XT should operate at 4.1 / 4.8 GHz
compared to the 3.8 / 4.6 GHz of the current 12 core Ryzen 9 3900X. Such increases of
frequency should improve AMD's competitive edge over
new
Intel's 10th generation cores
, going to further narrow the gap – not
excessive to tell the truth – in some workloads where the frequency
still central.

* the specifications of the XT models are not official Base clock Boost clock Core / thread
Ryzen 9 3900XT 4.1 GHz 4.8 GHz 12/24
Ryzen 9 3900X 3.8 GHz 4.6 GHz 12/24
Ryzen 7 3800XT 4.2 GHz 4.7 GHz 8/16
Ryzen 7 3800X 3.9 GHz 4.5 GHz 8/16
Ryzen 5 36000XT 4 GHz 4.7 GHz 6/12
Ryzen 5 36000X 3.8 GHz 4.4 GHz 6/12

According to rumors, this new CPU trio will go
replace the models already on the market, so it cannot be excluded that they will
they place in exactly the same price range. For new XT CPUs
the announcement scheduled for June 16, with commercial debut for July 7,
exactly one year after the first Ryzen 3000 landed on the market.
