Android and iOS are the only smartphone operating systems that are still holding up well on the market. According to the latest data, users of the first system are more loyal.
The study checked what percentage of people take a smartphone with the same system as recently. In the case of Android, it is 92% of people, and in the case of the latter, 91%. The difference is small, but it does exist. It may result from a much larger number of smartphones that operate under the control of this system. In the case of iOS, we only have an iPhone and the choice of the phone is much more limited.
People don’t like to change systems because of the need to get used to them. Changes are not welcome, hence so many people decide to stay with a smartphone with a known system.
